Access and Portal reset
Dr. McKnight moves in Carson City
Dr. McKnight will be moving to Sierra Nevada Eye Center (SNEC) as a staff doctor in 2026.
Eyemart Express will continue to do business next door making eyeglasses from your existing valid prescriptions.
SNEC is a medical-surgical ophthalmology practice, so eyeglasses and contact lens prescriptions are not available to patients from that location. We recommend initiating with a new optometrist for those services. If you have a medical issue like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, etc and Dr. McKnight has been monitoring your care, please call SNEC at 775-841-2000 to set an appointment. Wait times for appointments may be longer. SNEC is located at 3475 G S Richards Blvd, Ste 130, Carson City NV 89703 behind SaveMart at the north end of Carson City.
Reset your portal access
The patient portal will remain active for one year, and you can access your old exams and prescriptions with the login data you were given at check out from your exam.
Steps to reset access:
1. If you have an active and valid email in our system, you may perform the following:
2. Click the link above to access the portal.
3. On the login screen, click the link for "Forgot Password?"
4. Input your user name. This was given to you at your first exam, and is usually a combination of your first and last name (i.e. mar.smith )
5. click 'submit'
6. An email will be sent to your email on file.
7. Complete the instructions in the email.
8. Expired glasses and contact lens prescriptions will not display, but those prescriptions are contained within the exam record from the date they were dispensed.
