About Us
Complete eye care in south Carson City
Our office has been caring for south Carson City since 2012, and Dr. McKnight has practiced in Carson City since 2007. We provide comprehensive eye exams for patients age 6 to 106, prescribing glasses and soft contact lenses, treating eye infections and glaucoma, managing macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts, and caring for a host of other eye conditions.

Dr. McKnight is residency trained in ocular disease and post surgical management, and has been treating a wide spectrum of eye diseases like glaucoma, infections and injuries, and monitoring macular degeneration and cataracts for many years. Dr. Steyn has special interest in blepharitis and dry eye treatments.

Our practice prescribes Latisse to lengthen, darken, and thicken your eyelashes. We also fit colored contact lenses for a fun change to your look. Daily disposable and 2-packs are now available in colored lenses if you are a part time wearer. We also have great solutions for safely whitening chronic red eyes.
